Lindley's 2nd birthday!

For Lindley's birthday we had her friend Harper come over for pizza and cake. She had a blast!!

I am amazed at her every day. She doesn't talk a lot yet, but can communicate very well. She's very smart and thinks she can do everything Lilly and Lance do. We all spoil her rotten!!

Lance's room

We have been promising the kids that we would paint their rooms. I mean we've only been here two years! Jeff originally was just going to do a football room like his room in Indiana. Lance was good with that too. However, I was wanted to include other sports since he plays baseball & basketball. Well, I looked online and that was a bad idea......

The last wall is going Purdue basketball. It is gold on top and orange on bottom. Jeff didn't get the basketball painted yet. Once we get his bedding and other décor I'll post more pictures. Jeff worked his entire 4 days off on this. It was a HUGE project and it turned out AMAZING!!! Lance is VERY excited.

 

Thankfully, Lilly's room will be much easier!!

Baseball Time!!

We went straight from basketball to baseball!! Actually they doubled up for a few weeks. He is on the Yankees this year and is off to a GREAT start!! He has done great in practice and had a great opening game on Saturday. His second game was tonight and he did good again! We get comments (& did during basketball as well) about what a good player he is and how athletic he is. I see MANY games in my future!!

More Mardi Gras!!

Well, we made it to the last Mardi Gras parade, but it was FREEZING and Lilly wasn't feeling well. However, they had a good time and got some more goodies. On Fat Tuesday we enjoyed a King Cake!!

This was how we waited for the parade!! They were bundled!! Lilly never left the stroller, poor girl! She had complained all weekend with her throat, but I didn't see any spots and thought it was allergies or the virus the other two had. Finally took her Tuesday morning and sure enough, strep!

Lance found the baby!! He declared himself the KING!!

Randomness

I love her cheesy grin!!

This is Lilly's headset for her guitar. Lindley wore it for like three days almost constantly. It is on backwards and that is how she likes it!! Her imagination and play is getting so fun to watch!!

I'm not sure you are aware but we have a couple birthdays coming up in less than two weeks!!!! So this afternoon we headed out to do some party shopping then hit Chik-fil-a for dinner.

I told her to smile and this is what I got!

Was Museum

The second grade has a wax museum every year. They study famous people from history and have to select one and then do a paper bag report. Then they dress up like them and act like a wax person. All the parents tour the museum and when you push their button they tell you four important facts about themselves. It was so fun!!! They all did so good. They were nervous (had one vomit and a couple pass out, not in her class)!! Anyway, Lilly chose Betsy Ross since she had the costume already. She did SO GREAT!!!

Mardi Gras time!!!

Well, we've been busy celebrating Mardi Gras & it's not over yet!! The kids and have been to two parades plus we all did the school parade and have had a blast! The last parade we plan on going to is Monday night as long as it doesn't rain!!

Lance got to walk and throw and Lilly got to catch. Lance saved her a pink monkey and then all her friends were screaming at him!! So cute! Lindley was tired and has a runny nose....she wasn't all that impressed.

We came home from their school parade and they made a float and threw to us. SO CUTE!!

Just realized she's wearing the same outfit....this is a different parade a week later. Strange! Anyway...this was the first parade she actually got into and was waving and clapping. She loves getting the throws, but usually just sits and waits till one lands by her or I hand her one. Not this time!!

HEY THERE pretty girl!

I have named this the OOWW (Order of Wonderful Wades). They paraded again this morning! Lilly really wants to ride on a float. I'm guessing she will be a part of a Mardi Gras crew ASAP. My friend was going to let us help load her float, but we had a ball game. We are going to make it happen next year! Lilly will love it!!

 

There is a chance of rain Monday, but it's our best parade cause I've got connections! Hoping for good weather!!!
