Cam Visits!!

Uncle Cam came into town while Nono was in town! I ended up stuck in Atlanta, but made it home to at least have dinner with him before he left.

I LOVE THIS!!! Some of my favorite people!!

I always love a visit with my brother. I only wish it was more often!

The Wharf

I got it in my head I wanted to take the kids to The Wharf earlier this summer and do the ropes course and maybe go to the arcade. Due to my busy schedule it hadn't happened...so the week before school started I decided to squeeze it in...

He LOVED it!

Lilly loved it at first....she got to one side and got a little nervous cause she was by herself. She made it back though!

MONKEYS!

They had a toddle ropes course!! Lindley wasn't sure at first, but ended up really liking it!

Did I mention it was HOT?!

It was a little difficult for them to do the ziplines and sometimes they had to tug at their rope if it got stuck, but overally they loved it!

HOT and tired!

 

We took a break and wen to the arcade to play laser tag and a few games. Then headed back out for some putt-putt.

Again...putt-putt with three kids = chaos!

I did manage to keep an accurate score this time!

Lindley pretty much just ran around and dropped her ball in holes. She was happy so that's all that matters. Lilly won, but I don't remember the score!

 

Had to get some Dippin' Dots before we headed home!

So hot!!

Worn out, but a FUN day!!!

Barnes & Nobles and TMNT

It was a fun time! We love Barnes & Nobles!!

Beach Day with Nono!!

We were so excited to go to the beach with Nono and Mam!! It was a perfect day! Great weather, water was nice and the kids had a blast!!

The water was so clear...they were trying to catch fish!

SO good to visit with Nono!! Miss her so much!!

Lilly loves when we have visitors. She loves hanging with Nono!

Yay Jeff got to go too!! So nice to spend the day as a family!!

Lance and Mam hung out on these floats for a long time. Mam said he was just talking to her. So sweet!!

We headed home before Nono and Mam and stopped at Lambert's for dinner! YUMMY!!!

 

A day at the beach really is relaxing for us. (as long as the water isn't too rough). The kids have a sense of freedom and love the open space. We are actually able to sit down and breath. So lucky to live so close!!

Road Trip

NoNo decided to come down for a visit, but needed someone to meet her halfway to bring her home. I decided this would be a great opportunity to take a road trip. I looked and found a neat little water park right about halfway. So Lori, Ally, Brent, Hadley and NoNo drove to meet up with my parent, the kids and I. We had a nice little visit and the kids enjoyed the water park!!

This is the only picture I took at the park. We were too busy playing!! Lindley fell asleep on pap on the lazy river!

 

 

 

 

After we got cleaned up and had dinner we head to the mall to burn some energy.

A little glow in the dark putt-putt with 4 kids = pure chaos, but a lot of fun for them!
