Lilly's Soccer Game

Jeff hasn't been able to go to Lilly's past two games so I video some of todays game. Here are a few clips, she did GREAT! She is very much a defensive player. She goes immediately towards the other teams goal & always tries to get in front of the ball. You will notice in most of the kicking clips that she kicks it once & never bothers to follow it. She isn't interested in that as much.

Ok so after dinner they asked to play on the balcony (this is their favorite place, next to Lilly's closet). They had several babies out there & were having a blast. They are getting them settled.

Once the babies are settled they play a little ball!!

They were really good this evening. After dinner I sat & kinda got bored cause they were being so good. That's rare!!

Kindergarten Registration!

I took Lilly for kindergarten registration yesterday afternoon. She was a little nervous about the test. They took them by themselves for about 5 minutes. However, I explained she had to tell them how smart she was & played with her a little to get her loosened up. She did GREAT!! They asked them to identify the upper & lowercase letters, write their name, colors, shapes, numbers & count. She didn't recognize the lowercase i??? Considering it's in her name I am thinking she just froze!! She didn't recognize the number 10 or the rectangle. Other than that she did great!!! The person that tested her was actually the principal of the k-1 center. She will be attending the elmentary school because they are doing away with the k-1 center. However, it was nice that it was someone I knew what they were doing!! She assured me she is more than ready for school!! I was so proud of her & I can't believe that she will really be in school in 3 & 1/2 months!!!

A while back Lilly's teacher was requesting knee high stockings, soil & grass seeds. I volunteered to bring the knee highs. She assured me that what they were doing was adorable. Well....I have to agree!!

It's a homemade chia-pet!!! HOW STINKIN' CUTE IS THAT??? I love it!! I told her about one Uncle Cam had (Virgina) & how he liked to cut it's hair. So now all she wants to do is cuts it's hair!!!

Overall we had a GREAT Easter!! As always we miss family & friends, but it was very relaxed & lots of fun!!! So lucky to have such an AMAZING husband, BEAUTIFUL kids & WONDERFUL parents!!

Lance woke up at 7:20, came to our & snuggled for about 10 mins. Then he says, "Did the Easter Bunny come yet?" We proceeded to have a conversation about whether or not the bunny was knocking on the door, talking or out in the living room. I explained to him that the Easter Bunny came while he was sleeping. We decided to go wake Sissy up & check it out!!!

If you look at the center of his shirt there is an iron man  button, when he hits it there is a cool noise. He knows nothing about iron man BUT the Easter Bunny had a coupon & it was like $1.50. The bunny knew he would love it!

This is her laptop she got with her gift card & money. She LOVES it. I showed her how she can type on it today. She said, "AWESOME"

This is our yummy Easter lunch. I made it myself & it was easy & great!!!! Honey Baked ham, corn on the cob, green beans, hashbrown casserole, berry tossed salad & rolls. Plus, carrot cake, deviled eggs & shrimp (courtesy of mom/dad). I wanted to take a pic to show the lily's on the table. Lilly & I went to church this morning. It's the first one we've tried out since we moved & I just felt like we needed to go. Lance & Daddy stayed home. Anyway, they gave us those for visiting. Lilly had to have them on the table for lunch!!

After we got Jeff up we had planned on heading to the park for more Easter egg hunts. HOWEVER, Lilly & Lance wanted to go swimming!! That deserves a post of it's own!

SERIOUSLY!!

This is Lance's room this evening. On Wednesday he had a COMPLETE meltdown about cleaning up the hall (he had dragged half of Lilly's room out there) & his room. I finally got him to at least do the hallway, but that was after he lost most of his cars/trucks (big & little). He asked about them the other day & I told him he wouldn't get them back till he cleaned his room......he wasn't home much of yesterday or today BUT I am pretty certain I will lose this battle. He is VERY hardheaded!! Lilly cleaned hers on Wednesday, it's messy but not this bad. He is his father's son for sure.......

Ready for the Bunny!!

The kids got LOTS of mail today!! They were excited to find that they had a gift card & cash!! Lilly wanted to go shopping immediately. I generally wouldn't just let them go get a new toy when they get stuff like that but we were going there anyway & they honestly don't need anything. I figured if they used it all at once they could get something pretty good! Lilly ended up with a kids laptop computer & Lance got a remote control car that flips. Both of these were on my list for them for Christmas, but they had other things they wanted more so they didn't make the cut so I am SUPER happy & so are they~I will post pics of them later. THANKS Grandmas Trisha & Pappaw, Julie & Johnathan.
