100 Years Old!

Lance got to dress like he was 100 years old today for the 100th day of school.

I think he makes a quite handsome old man!

Grandma's Noodles!

Lance brought home a big stack of papers the other day. They had stuff from all the way back to November. Among them I found this little gem!

It says

My hero is Grandma because she always has my noodles!!

So precious!! I love it!

Lindley's school!

I keep forgetting to get some pictures of Lindley at school. I finally remembered today!

So right after took this she got upset and cried! She has never done that. The second day she was kinda sad, but never really cried. Today she totally lost it. I'm not sure why, but it prevented me from getting any other pictures. That's her cubby!

Mom went with me to pick her up today so she got distracted when we came in, but she was busy playing with numbers!

Other than her little breakdown this morning she has been doing great! In fact she has cried several mornings that she hasn't had school. Before we left today she told me she was waiting on the bus to go to school! They are starting to get more kids and even have a couple more girls finally!! I think she likes having something that is hers. I already noticing her saying her letters and numbers more. We are so proud of her!!

Missing something??

We have lost a few things around here lately....

A tooth!! She worked for this one! I think she wanted some money!!

Also some hair! He wouldn't stop asking...so I finally caved. I know I'm in trouble....but it will come back!

I trimmed Lindley's rat tail.

Also the front piece that was hanging in her eyes. I'm hoping that it will help it come in a bit better!!

Weekend Fun

It was a beautiful weekend last weekend. We enjoyed a lot of time outside!

Brody came over and he Lance we playing Batman. So cute!

We headed out for a walk/bike ride.

Ran into the caped crusaders making sure the neighborhood is safe!

LOVE THIS!

She got tired and pulled her bike back! LOL

Playing with some grass.

She reminds me of Lance more and more these days.

This is our neighbors tent. They have three girls (one is a baby). This is where Lilly spent much of her day. They play so well together!

After lunch and a nap we headed back out.

Playing a little ball.

Selfie!

Isn't he the sweetest?

The princesses were riding in the tractor!

Time for a drive!

Lindley is getting the hang of driving, but still prefers to be driven! Of course....the best brother in world doesn't mind at all!

Getting some Daddy love before he has to go to work. He was supposed to work 12 days straight. He did end up getting one day off in the middle of them, but it still made for a long couple of weeks. Everyone was happy this was his last night!!

Krispy kreme gives a free donut for every A. Both kids got a half dozen from their great report cards!!

Yummy!

Luckily they shared with Lindley, Mommy & Mammaw too!!

So happy to have some nice weather!! It's rainy today, but this weekend looks nice too!

Basketball!

Lance started basketball a while back. He has had several games and I kept forgetting to get pictures. I finally got some last week!

We are playing on a different league this year and still aren't 100% sure we love it. They play full court, but start the play at mid court.

Look at him go!

Defense! Defense!! Look at his face. He is so funny!

Go Lance!!

He is a pretty good little guard!!

He seems to be enjoying it and usually makes a couple baskets a game!
So proud of him!

Potty Trained!!

I finally decided to bite the bullet and attempt to potty train Lindley. She still really had no interest and didn't want to even put panties on or sit on the potty. They ask her to sit on the potty at school and she was doing it for them. Initially she wasn't happy with me. She had a couple accidents the first day (last Wednesday), but also pooped on the potty once!! After that she caught on pretty quickly! Thursday she was at school so I put her in a diaper. Friday morning we went to panties and haven't looked back. It's been a week and she is officially potty trained! She had about one accident a day over the weekend, but by Monday she pretty much had it down! Both days at school she had no accidents! I am SHOCKED at how easy it was!!!

This was the first day!

So proud of herself!

We did stickers the first few times, but honestly she really didn't care after the first day or so!!

This was yesterday when I declared she was officially potty trained!!!
YAY Lindley!!!

All A's!!!

The kids brought home their report cards Friday and guess what???? They both got all A's!!!! We are so proud of them!!

We had to get some ice cream to celebrate!!

This girl started school this week! She is going from 8-2:30 on Tues and Thurs. She was nervous and did cry on Thursday, but overall did great! It's a brand new school and just opened so her class is small. She seems to like it and we are so proud of how she did!! (I will get some pictures this week. I didn't want to push my luck this week)

Bathtub Fun!

I took the kids swimming a second time before we went back to school. However, I took them while Lindley was napping. When she woke up and was not happy with me. We convinced her that swimming in our bathtub would be fun!

She had fun!

She's swimming to the side!

She was so proud of herself!

Look at that sweet face!

We dried her hair!

She REALLY wants long hair. I've been telling her how long it is getting. We made a big deal of it and she was so proud of it!!

Christmas break fun!!

We had a nice relaxing couple of weeks while the kids were off of school.

We got Lilly a little table for her sewing machine. We didn't want her moving it around a lot and wanted her to be able to use it.

She got right to work! She made herself a little pillow and blanket!

One rainy Saturday evening we decided to take the kids on Mom/Son and Daughter/Daddy dates.
(Jeff & Lilly went to dinner and movie, but of course he didn't take any pictures)

Lance and I got some dinner at Chick-fil-a

Then went roller skating!!

The close for a couple hours and then open back up in the evening. We were the first ones there so we had the floor to ourselves for a few!

He doesn't pretty good. Still falls quite a bit but gets right back up and goes again!
Ironically, I never fell but managed to hit my face on a door frame while leaving the floor. (I was looking back at Lance and it was just bad timing. The only spot in there where there is anything and of course I hit it!)

One day we decided to go swimming! They were happy to be back in the water!

Lindley had fun but just couldn't stay warm in the water. I guess cause she is so little!
Snack time!

My little fish!!

Lilly and Lance both use our old iphones as ipods. However, Lilly's screen ended up cracked and she has wanted a new one. It was on her Christmas list, but not before an electric scooter. After Christmas she wanted to use some of her money to buy a new case for the one she had. I didn't want her to spend money on something that was broken. We discussed buying a used ipod and she was all for it!! I explained that it might take some time to find one in her price range and she had to be patient etx. By the grace of God we found in Pensacola and she had enough money!! So we drove over one day and picked up and she also got a case for it! This is one VERY HAPPY girl!! (Thanks Grandma, Aunt Kackie & Taylor)

Once I got the tree down the living room had all kinds of room (tree has been up since we got the new tv). I decided to move the train table in there from the dining room. Lindley has really enjoyed it!

Lance built his Lego from Grandma!!

We really did a lot of nothing, but some fun too! It was nice to just spend time together!
