Pelican's Nest/bay field trip

I got to go with Lance on a field trip today! We went to the Pelican's Nest which is a science lab by the old K-1 center. They get to go a few times a year and they come to them as well. Today we went down by the bay and got to look for some creatures!

I ended up having to get in the water with the net. However, there wasn't much to catch. We only ended up with comb jelly...looks and feels like snot. They didn't care they still had fun! It was a fun morning!
