Potty time?!

Lindley has shown little to no interest in her potty chair she got for Christmas. I'm not exactly pushing it, but I do mention it to her when I'm changing her or will offer to sit on the potty. ZERO interest. When I ask if she wants to be a big girl and pee in the potty she says, "Mommy, Daddy, Bubby, Sissy". She knows we all do but isn't concerned with doing it herself. So today we were out shopping and came across the potty seat that sits on the big potty. I showed it to her and she seemed excited so we got it.

When we got home she sat on it once, but nothing. Then before her bath she sat on it, nothing. Then after quite awhile in the bath she told me she had to pee. I get her out and sure enough....she peed on the potty!!!

Of course...now I have no idea when I am going to actually try to train her......we will see how it goes.....

Top runner!

Lilly got a top running award today at school! She ran 125 laps which is 25 miles!!! WOW!! There were 4 girls from her class were in the top ten with her! She was 6th. This is out of her group of classes which I think is like 4 classes...so roughly 80 kids or so.

Way to go girls!!!

Last baseball game

Lance had his last baseball game for this season this week. He had some good hits and a couple outs. He ended his season with two grand slams and 5 home runs!!!!!! Plus a bunch of outs!!! They won the game too! WHAT A GREAT SEASON!!

Jeff got down some of his old G.I. Joe toys from the attic when we were in Indiana. Lance could hardly wait to get his hands on them!!

Mother's Day

Well, we drove 9.5 hours on Mother's day...so not much celebrating. However, I did get some extra lovin'

Indiana trip

Auntie Kay passed away and we felt like we needed to be there to say goodbye so we headed to Indiana for a few days. The kids were just mostly excited to see everyone.

We had an emotional and exhausting trip, but it was good to see those that we did. There's never enough time and the rain screwed up Saturday afternoon for us. My Auntie Kay was an AMAZING women and we were truly blessed to have her in our life. She will be dearly missed, but I know she is in a better place now.

He lost another tooth!

She fell and hit the train table....split that little piece of skin and busted her lip. It bled and bled. It healed up fine, but scared us!

Hard to see, but her lip is puffy.

She was crying one night and when I went to get her the moment I picked her up she stopped. It melted my heart.

No more curls. I don't know why I caved, but I did. He has been begging and I can understand why. He gets so hot......He is handsome either way! One day he will embrace them again!
