Happy New Year!!

Well, we all saw the ball drop, but we kinda cheated. (We celebrated when the ball drop in New York even though it was only 11 pm here). However, it's a good thing we did cause Lilly had done great, but had a small breakdown (she was exhausted). They were very excited to watch the ball drop & say Happy New Year.

I had put potato soup in the crock pot for dinner so we ate & spent the evening just playing games & having some family time. This is a heated game of Uno Moo!! Lance thought the best part was pushing the animals in the barn. He got a little violent at times....shocking I know!
A little Curious George memory....Lilly & I tied!!

Some puzzles!!

Snack on the floor.....to which my children cheered about. Jeff says, "What kind of parents are we if are kids cheer about getting to eat on the floor?"

Lance starting getting cranky so it was movie time for him around 8:20. He changed his movie twice & managed to stay awake!

Getting ready for the ball to drop!

Lance played animal scramble. He did really good!!

Christmas 2010

I am still figuring this blogging thing out so I couldn't make comments on the pics I posted. There are pics of the kids opening gifts while skyping with Grandma Trish (the Barbie Swim school & Choo Choo) as well as Pappaw Wade & Julie (jammies & Thomas). Also, pics from Christmas Eve with my parents (doll & truck that Lance is unsure of).
How cute are they in their robes & jam o's ready for Santa? cutest ever I think!!! I always get a picture after Santa comes. He works so hard to makes things look so nice & of course once they start in it's nothing but chaos. He was especially happy this year because the kids left him a buckeye. We told them that he would remember them next year for that!!!
Lance wanted to play with everything he got, but wasn't showing much excitement. I am not sure if he just didn't get it or what, but he was happy none the less. Lilly however had a GREAT Christmas!! She must have been a good girl because I think she got almost everything on her list. (*Please note, Santa did his best with Lance, but he kept changing his mind so he made it very difficult!) Lilly got her Go Go the walkin' pup (which she has creatively named Go Go) & her Easy bake oven. Those were her big items that she REALLY wanted. They both also got some moon dough & a game. Along with lots of stocking stuffers. All in all I would say it was a great year. It was different & we missed our Indiana family very much. However, we are greatful for all we have & are looking forward to a great new year!!!

Family Movie Night

Everyone was feeling puny & under the weather so we all got in our jam o's (as Lance calls them) & snuggled up to watch Shrek the final chapter. The kids enjoyed it & Lance danced during the part where the Piper makes the orges dance! Hopefully, everyone wakes up feeling better tomorrow. I sure don't want anyone sick next week!!!

First Post

Well, this is my first post. I have been thinking about doing this for awhile. I felt like it would be a good way to keep everyone who's interested up to date on what's going on in our family. Since we've moved I've been doing my best, but I feel like I am not doing very well. Plus, it's a great way to preserve memories for the kiddos!! Not sure how I will like it, but I'm gonna give it a try!!!
