Family fun!!

We haven't been doing too much. Lots of football (watching and playing) and chilling at home, but I did grab a few pictures last weekend. Jeff was off all weekend which is always so nice!!

It has taken about 9 months, but she finally likes driving it!

She drove it around the block. She looked drunk. She overcorrects just a tad! LOL

Yes...they are all crowded around Lilly's ipod watching cartoons. I have no idea why, but they were happy and quiet for a good bit so I'll take it!!

 

Not sure this is really family fun, but they had dental checkups and everyone did great!! No cavities and teeth look good!! WHOHOO!!

 

Lilly is 10!!!

Well believe it or not we have a 10-year-old! I honestly can't believe it. It's hitting me hard.....I just don't now how it could be??? This year was a little different since we are celebrating with a girls trip to the American Girl store. We still celebrated and had a good day.

She started her day by opening her gift from Lindley & Lance. Lindley picked out a dry erase board, a pen and a little picture from the Dollar Tree. She was so excited!!

After a long day of school and then Lance's baseball game....we finally got to sing to this precious girl!

She couldn't get them out!

Our sweet, wonderful friends The Callahan's dropped a gift off while we were at Lance's game. Her very own copy of Little Women. Aren't they the sweetest?!!

Oh yes....money from Grandma for her trip!!

Of course her precious moments was a big hit too!

Although we didn't get her anything (her trip is her gift). Daddy couldn't resist making her something special. It's a charm bracelet. So thoughtful.

Well here we are...10 years later. I think we are doing pretty good. We have good and bad days, but all in all I'd say she's turning out ok!

She also got money from Mammaw & Pappaw too! Girl is ready to hit up the American Girl store and do some serious shopping!!!

 

We had to postpone our trip a week. So we aren't leaving till Friday. We are all beyond excited and can barely stand it. Plus we have a BIG, HUGE surprise for the girls!!! I can't wait!! Stay tuned!!!

Fall Ball

It's baseball time again!! Fall ball is much different than spring. It is supposed to be laid back and a season for learning. We had hoped to get on the team of a coach we had a few seasons ago, but they didn't work out. Lance is still having fun though and doing is best!

He played Brody's team for his first game. These two were happy as could be!!

 

He is on the Red Sox and is one of the more experienced player. They have moved him around quite a bit. They are figuring out where everyone does best. No score keeping in fall, but I think we've lost both games. Lance seems to be handling it pretty well!

Lindley Claire

Well what can I say....Lindley is something else. She is such a funny kid, like Lance, but has some of Lilly's traits too.

Just a typical day...

Playing school with her dolls....it's always circle time and the kids are always misbehaving.

Restless...not wanting to sleep....finally gave in. I spy long legs....

Feeling puny this week. She had a low grade fever for less than 24 hours and was very lethargic. It passed quickly and she was fine. Guess it was a little bug.

Well...when mom wakes you from nap and forgets to make you potty....you pee in her car. Plus...mom doesn't have anything but a couple tissues because that's just her luck. So this was how to sat in car line....

She is full on three years old. She can cry because her cheese broke and doesn't like to be told no. She is funny and never stops talking. She has a BIG imagination and is really getting into playing. She loves you with everything she has....until you don't do exactly what she wants. I love watching her grow and change. I wouldn't mind if it slowed down a little...

Dance time!!

Lilly finally decided to try dance! We are jumping in head first and she's doing ballet, tap and jazz!!

We were late because I had the start time wrong....but no worries she just jumped right in!! First up ballet!

After a quick change it was time for some jazz!

Of course....Ella takes dance so that is part of the reason Lilly finally decided to try. Whatever it takes. I am just glad she is doing it before she regrets not trying. She enjoyed it, but it wore her out.  (It's 2 1/2 hours once a week). I think she will enjoy it!

Labor Day weekend!

Lilly got invited to spend the weekend with Ella (neighbor) at her Grandparents house on the river a few hours away. We were on the fence, but Jeff was working and I really didn't have a good reason to not let her go. I trust them and Lilly loves spending time with them. She was a little nervous to be away so long, but wanted to try it.

There was an art room so they got to make some stuff.

Alaina (Ella's mom) was kind enough to send the pictures and keep my updated. I also face timed with Lilly. She had a great time!! She did get homesick once, but not bad. She was so happy to go, but did miss us all!

While she was away and Jeff was working Lance, Lindley and I managed to stay busy too!! Friday night Lance went to the high school football game with Brody and his dad. Lindley and I hung with Harper and Heather. On Saturday we got up and ran to do a little shopping for Lance. Then we hit up a couple game day parties!! I didn't get pictures at the first one. It was a friend of Lance's from baseball, Chase. The kids got to swim and we hung out for awhile.

We of course had to visit with the Nelsons again. Friendship....divided!!
